This wheel thrown and altered porcelain bowl with 4 sections is perfect for serving chips with guacamole, fruit with a chocolate dipping sauce, veggies and dill dip, salad and dressing, etc. A bowl to hold your salsa or dip is built right into this dish. I used porcelain clay -- fired to over 2000F for a very durable finish -- to create this set. The glaze is a celedon blue transparent glaze that allows the beauty of the porcelain to show through. The bowl is 2" tall x 8" across and can be placed in the oven or microwave (if you need to heat some brie cheese or a hot dipping sauce).
