Blue celedon on porcelain is a beautiful combination for this large serving bowl. I made it on my pottery wheel out of porcelain clay and then slip trailed a design on the exterior for added interest. Slip trailing is a technique where you use watered down clay to create texture and contrast on the surface of your pottery piece. I also folded over the rim slightly and gave it some soft twists for an elegant profile. The large bowl measures 6" high x 10" across. The 4 smaller bowls are no longer available, so this listing is just for the serving bowl.
