Chess Board – Bubinga, Maple, Padauk
This chessboard is made from Bubinga (dark checks, Equatorial Africa), Hard Maple (light checks, North America), with a Padauk spacer inside the frame (West Africa). The board is framed in Canarywood (South America) on the top and bottom. The sides are also Padauk. It has a drawer for the included chess pieces (or use your own!) that is fronted with Zebrawood (West Africa). It is 20″ square with 2″ checks and about 5″ tall, including the rubber feet. It comes with an unattached turntable. It is finished in 4 coats of clear lacquer. To clean, wipe and rinse…please do not immerse in water or place in a dishwasher.
