Which type of mailbox allows for the easiest application of the decals? Metal Smooth Surface- will allow for the best adhesion and appearance of the decal. Painted - it's important to ensure that the paint is completely dry and that the surface is clean and dry before a applying the decal. Plastic or irregularly shaped mailbox -It may be possible to apply, but it may require additional care and patience during application. I advise against applying decals to plastic mail as their adherence may vary. There is no specific brand or type that is consistently affected.
