While the forked sundew is known for many things--including being a fearsome gnat trapper--I personally refer to it as my "antibody" sundew. These elegant antibody-shaped leaves are lovely to watch unfurl. Drosera binata (var. binata) grows a very extensive network of roots and will seemingly multiply in growing points every year. This is a warm temperate sundew species. Expect your plant to go dormant in the fall/winter in response to light and temperature changes. If grown with artificial lights, dormancy should still be observed for the health of your plant! It's when the plant is working on their roots!
