This Extra Large Vintage Musical Jewelry chest has been upcycled and beautifully restored. It has been hand painted in a soft blue gray color with floral transfers by Redesign with Prima and accented with some stencil designs and liquid gold paint. On opening the doors, there are 5 drawers on the right and a carousel for hanging necklaces on the left. On the outside, the top drawer has a separate space for storing rings and bracelets etc. While the bottom drawer has dividers to store earrings individually. If you take out the last drawer and turn it over, you will find a mirror attached to its bottom. The hardware is all original to the box and have been cleaned and repainted. The box has been stripped and cleaned thoroughly before painting and the interiors of the box have been re-lined with new beige velvet. The music in the box is Lara's" Theme, commonly referred to as "Somewhere My Love" from the movie Dr. Zvivago. This can be heard once you open the bottom drawers.
