Using a single strand at all times, more than 50 different colors were used to create the illusion of a painting. Stitched using a slate frame not a hoop. Using acid free tissue paper to cover the fabric while working to protect it from dust, oils and other elements which can damage the fabric over time. The piece itself is 8 x 10 inches, properly mounted and laced on an archival 8ply mat board. It’s then sink mounted with 11 x 14 inch double mat boards placed on top. Ready to be framed in an 11 x 14 inch frame. I highly recommend framing this piece.
