This is a unique heart Americana door or wall hanging . The strips and star panel are hand painted on muslin that is aged with a coffee/cinnamon solution. The stars are hand painted on the flag. The year "1776" is hand embroidered on the heart. The heart is decorated with pip berries, Spanish moss, sweet annie and a tea-dyed burlap fabric bow. An aged Declaration of Independence document is secured to the heart. A rusty wire hanger is attached to the back - ready for hanging! This Americana display is approximately 13" tall X 8" wide. This is a wonderful addition to any home! The display is my version of the Our Vintage Home design. This wall hanging is made by me in my smoke-free home.
