This small handmade ceramic swirl bowl is certain to become your favorite. It features a small bowl in the center for holding soup or sauces or dips and a small attached plate for holding crackers, veggies, nuts or other snack. I made it on my pottery wheel out of stoneware clay, and then altered the design to bring a section of the plate rim over to the bowl to form a swirl that also works well as a separation between different types of snack, veggies, crackers, bread, etc. This bowl is 3" high x 5" across. The small bowl in the center holds around 1 cup. The glaze is a new one I just created, called Purple Rain over which I dipped the rim in another glaze to get the pretty rim colors.
