This DIY earring kit is an interpretation of a traditional Southwestern design, in colors of orange, purple, brown, beige, and sage green, in matte and shiny finishes. It is worked in brick stitch with fringe in Miyuki 11/0 Delica seed beads. Earrings are approximately 1 ¼ inches wide and 3 ¾ inches long from the top of the ear wire. There is no instruction included. This kit is designed for people who know how to do brick stitch, how to add fringe, and are comfortable reading a pattern. If you need assistance with these techniques there are video tutorials on YouTube. The kit for these earrings includes the following: • 5 colors of 11/0 Miyuki Delica beads • Size 11 beading needle • Color-coordinated nylon thread (K.O., or C-Lon, depending on color used) • Ear wires (gold-plated; nickel- and lead-free) • Wire guards to use as earring hangers • A pair of silicone earring backs for added security • A printed color pattern chart (no word chart included), a bead legend, and a photo of the finished project for reference; the pattern is composed of two charts: one for the top of the earring and one for the fringe.
