With 27 beads instead of the full size 108, a pocket mala is the perfect size to carry with you anywhere you go. Crafted with silky smooth white jujube wood beads, it is knotted on lilac cord with a multi tone tassel. Choose the custom color option and leave a note for a different color or color combination. This mala is crafted with beautiful all natural Indian white jujube wood beads. Also known as Beri wood, this is a light colored wood that comes from the ziziphus Mauritiana species known as the Indian jujube tree. The beads are wax polished giving them a light sheen. This leaves them with a soft silky feel. Even with the wax, they may still absorb oil from your skin and darken slightly over time. This mala uses the larger 8mm size beads which most find is easiest for use in meditation.
