The lights work fine but the product name “shimmer” is misleading. I was expecting the lights to have a mode for blinking or twinkling effect like other ones out on the market. These only turn on or off.

These are great little battery powered lights for seasonal decorating.  They are bright and the timer saves the trouble of turning them on and off each night.

Bright and wire is convenient but they are not strongly attached to the battery pack. Wire broke and the lights disconnected from the battery pack on the first use.

Pretty lights but on both strings that I used on my tree the first 1/3 of the string has lights which appear to be both bigger and brighter than the 2/3 rds balance.
