The frame was really pretty but we were intending on using it for a very unique poster shape which we couldn't use it for because the black lining around the photos is on the glass.

Beautiful frame but I didn't want the mat, only the frame, for a piece of art with these dimensions. I couldn't tell till it was unwrapped that the black lines are engraved on the glass, so it can only be used for the openings intended.

Shapes should not be on the glass in case the frame needs to be used for a picture the size of the frame itself.

It's nicely made, but I wanted to use just the frame and not the cutouts or mat. Unfortunately the black borders around the mat cutouts is PRINTED ON THE GLASS. After paint thinner, a razor blade and over an hour, I finally got it all off. For real. Who prints on the glass?? That could have just as easily been on the mat.
