Cotman is considered a student grade paint, but I find it to be a great quality for a professional work as well. Pigment is vibrant and strong, so not much filler was added. The paint goes smoothly, produces great results and the price is just a steal for what you get. This set of paint is great for mixing up some fabulous colors. It is a wonderful addition to your painting supplies either if you are a professional artist or just starting with this medium.

Best color red in the store, so far. With some thinner these paints go a really lasting longer than expected.

These are wonderful intermediate paints in a good range of colors. I love Windsor and Newton, and their cotman watercolor sets are a good alternative to their pricier single-unit tubes!

These are a great starter set. They are student grade but top level for that. If you are new to watercolors get this instead of a cheap crappy brand.

I usually shy away from water colors and at this price but they got the job done and with minimal paint. I thought it would all be used up with one project. The colors are as they say and accurate!

Great pigment. I'm a beginner, but these paints seem to be great quality.

I bought these with a Christmas gift card.  These are good quality watercolors and you get a good selection of colors in this set.  I have used these watercolors for several years.  At $2.00 a 5mL tube, they are a great value for the money too since the 8mL tubes sell for $5.99 each.
