Copic ink is an alcohol-based substance that does not dissolve and works well with watercolors and colored pencils. Copic original, Sketch, Ciao and Wide markers are refillable by using this fast-drying, permanent and non-toxic ink. To refill the markers, match the color number on the marker with the corresponding ink color number. Markers can be refilled by dabbing the ink directly onto the broad nib using the attached nozzle. These refill Copic Sketch about 7 times and the Ciaos about 9. The new longer nozzle is easier than the old style for applying the ink in the barrel. Storing the new shaped bottles is easier than the old style. Bottles are marked for measuring, but count the drops as you refill the barrel so you don't overfill the marker. Michaels have a nice selection online. The best way to purchase is during a generous sale or with a high value coupon stacked with a rewards credit. Otherwise, the regular price will be higher than competitors. The shipping was quick, but the packaging was a simple bubble mailer.  Online ordering was convenient.

Had no idea Copic redesigned their refills. My Y28 lionet  gold has been empty for some time. Glad to find one at Michael's. Now it's back to creating🥰

What can be said about copic? They are on top for a reason. This is one of the nicest yellows I've ever used and super consistent. I highly recommend it.

I love the color. It's definitely true to the color on the cap which is important to note. I've tried other inks that claim a color and yet the color once written is slightly different than whats on the label or cap. With this ink that's not the case. Its a nice shade of yellow.
