Metallic worked well for what I wanted, to give shells a transparent sheen. I used on painted shells which toned down the brightness of the color, exactly what I wanted to soften the color. also used on non pained to give a mother of pearl look.

I absolutely love this color, I love all the DecoArt Metallics I have been making Fluid Art Coasters and everyone who wants them leans towards the metallics
