I love the way these claws look but I have to agree with the other reviewers about the metal screw hangers on the back.  They are very thin and a heavy sword will bend the over time.  The brackets could be a thicker gage metal IJS but otherwise I love them.

I overlooked the description details and the items appeared to be too large for my particular taste and possible uses.  The items show are well detailed and big, with the apparent result to be real, so they could be inappropriate in a household with undeveloped minds (kids).

Bought this to replace a previous set. My only complaint is that the supporting hangers on the back need to be better attached. The reason I had to replace is that one fell off the wall after one of the hangers on back let go. Luckily this happened when the item it was meant to hold was not in the clans

I did exactly what another reviewer did. I painted them black and used gun metal color paint for the talons. Looks great holding a sword. Without painting the claws they look bland. Great detail though and the price can't be beat.

Bought these for my D&D Room They look Great! just wish the screw was not broken repeatedly during them being made for the metal backer plate on one of them but no biggie. Looks great on my wall under my Dragon Head
