This fun craft kit kept my child busy for ages. Kids use the pen-like sculpting tool to push the different colours of Playfoam into the plastic 'canvas' and complete the unicorn design. It comes with five pretty colours of Playfoam, is ready to use as soon as you open it, and has all kids need to complete the design. This kit is fun and easy to do - young children will likely need adult help to get started, especially when pushing Playfoam into the narrower corners of the design, however older children will get the knack quickly. I liked that the kit is reusable, easy to complete, and quick to tidy up after play. I also liked that my child can change the colours whenever she wants - all she needs to do is use the squisher tool to scoop out the Playfoam and she can start crafting again. The kit comes with a stand to mount the design, and the unicorn is now proudly on display!

Cute, fun. Texture was very appealing sensory wise. Medium was ill proportioned to achieve reproduction of the product image. My 7 year old was pleased with theme and enjoyed the process. More color options or a larger quantity of each would be better.

My daughter absolutely loves unicorns and this made her so happy. It was super easy for her to use and she did it all by her self which made her a happy girl. It make her proud of her self and added some cool looking decor to her room.

My 8 year has loved this. She has taken it apart and put it back together several times now. This would be great for travel because it doesn't make a mess.

Playfoam Unicorn was a great all in one craft I gave to my 3 daughters to do one morning when I had chores to get done. I was sceptical at first because I anticipated a mess but quickly found out that the foam pieces actually stick together and will easily gathered in a ball. I wouldn't leave it with young children as I'm sure it could be a choking hazard but my elementary age girls loved it! Kept them busy for about 20 minutes... Wish I had one for each of them!

First off, we love Playfoam around here. It's such a great sensory toy that offers endless ways to play! Watching my husband working on this with my 3.5 year old son was priceless. They had so much fun! I would say that my husband may have been even more hooked than my son. Haha! It's an adorable activity that offers fine motor engagement and creativity! Best part, you can play with over and over again, as Playfoam never dries out!

The foam was initially hard to get it all out of the packaging. My 7 year old immediately went to filling in the unicorn, my 5 year old was more interested in feeling and playing with the foam. They loved playing with it. The unicorn tray was less interesting for them overall. The hit was the foam. Once the foam was in place on the unicorn, it was difficult to get it out without it being messy and changing it up which they wanted to do. It would depend on the price point on whether or not I'd recommend it to a friend. I wouldn't pay more than $5.99 for the length of time it had them playing. I would almost prefer buying a bunch of the foam mold as they loved that.

My 11 year old loved playing with the foam unicorn. She loved how bright the colors were and the fact that when she was done she could play with the foam other ways. I would highly recommend this to older children.
