It does slow the drying time of acrylic paint.  The more that is mixed into the paint, the slower the drying time and it does not change the colour of the paint.  Good product for reasonable price.

I paint with acrylics but use them like oils (I’m broken but I love a quick dry when I’m done painting.) while I’m painting I still love to fully blend sections and this is perfect for those details. You don’t need a lot and you don’t have to use it for your whole piece, so it last a long time. Great price and can elevate cheaper acrylics finish quality.

Not a fan of this product. Way to thick and goopy. The blending gels ive used in the past are a pouring consitancy. This is more like vasaline. It made my paints have inconsitant flow.

I used this as an extender for some heavy body paint and painted fairly thick on canvas.  It took over a week to dry - so if that's what you're after, it's great!
