I am just a hobbyist, but I have been impressed with the quality of this art journal. So far, it has held up extremely well and the heft of the paper was just what I wanted. I tend to switch up my media use but it has been great for gouache painting and ink. Plus, the binding/cover can really take a beating(I tend to stretch the bindings so the journal lays flat nicely)!!
