Has worked perfectly to round out the edges of my wire wrapped pendants and rings to avoid pointy ends that snag and scratch. If using on colored/coated wire, it will show the copper or silver color underneath the coating. Takes some practice rolling/twisting around the edge of a wire to get a nice rounded end. Not suitable for small gauges
