This is cute and my kids were excited by it at first, but lead keeps getting stuck in it and it is tricky to remove it. When the kids try they make a big mess. I’m not sure how to fix the issue but when it does work we enjoy it.

This is a fun little sharpener. My kids love the fact that it lights up. In fact they both wanted it for themselves.  The only issue I have with this sharpener is sometimes it gets bogged down if you press to hard. Not an issue for me, but as a parent to younger kids, it is sometimes hard to keep them from pressing the pencil in full force. Again, not really a design flaw (more of a kid flaw).

This cute ‘apple-sized’ pencil sharpener has become a fun addition to the kids art area. Light, compact and easy to operate, even with battery power only this little guy sharpens pencils well with a fun glow. I found it worked best while holding on flat hard surface and pushing down for an even point - we’ve used on #2’s and colored pencils with great success. I think the kids are coloring more just to be able to sharpen again!

Acme comes through with a not just a quality pencil sharpener, but one that looks really good too. Using this in my office and I have had no problems with the tip breaking off in the machine. Point is always sharp.

Small but handy. Lights up and changes color! Sharpens pencils and fast. Used on different pencils thickness and colored pencils. Great addition to our homeschool tools! Now each child had their own! Put the fun back in sharpening the pencils! LOL

I am not a fan of battery powered pencil sharpeners, but this one is the coolest sharpener I have ever owned! Actually, for a battery powered sharpener, it is very powerful. I’ve sharpened about a dozen pencils and it sharpened them quickly and evenly, with a nice point.  The changing light is so much fun!!  It’s my favorite battery powered sharpener!

This is a great new Westcott sharpener.  My 11 year old daughter loves the multiple colors that change as you sharpen the pencil.  The sharpener makes a great point on pencils and is easy to use.  We love it.
