This cake leveler worked fine until it didn&#x27;t. I like the ability to adjust the height of the wire. But after using it a couple of times, the wire broke off at the point where it connects. This seems like a defect in the product.

Love the idea of a cake leveler. However, the execution of this product leaves much to be desired. It is very difficult to adjust the height of the wire. I cut my hand trying to adjust it. When finishing the slice it breaks the cake up. There is an art to slicing to reduce this.

Someone ordered the Cake Leveler for me and it came broken before I got a chance to use it. Bought one from a local store and it broke within seconds. Unbelievable. Used Wilton products before but I am a bit disappointed about the Cake Leveler.

I used it once and everything was okay. But I store it and I hear a low loud. The string little broke in half. So sad I was excited about this. But the Wilson team promptly respond and refunded me. That is why I gave it a 3.

Love this tool! I'm not a professional baker, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I always felt like I was trying to compensate for messy leveling by getting creative with the icing. This definintely fixes that issue. Worth the money!

Looking forward to using the Wilton Cake Leveler to cut a cake into 2 (or maybe 3) thinner layers. This tool feels strong and adjustments to the wire blade seem simple.

I haven't used this yet but I think it would do a better job than a big knife. I cringe when I see someone attack a cake layer with just a knife and cut through it.

The wire popped out trying to adjust it after using it a couple of times. It broke almost immediately and I don't have the right tools to put the wire back.
